So far the best thing about high school is the freedom that we have. In the middle school we were not aloud to leave unless a parent was there to pick you up. Now in the high school you get to go out during lunch and do whatever you want. But that is also a downside to me. In the high school you don't have lunch with your friends or see them much any more. But that's helped me realize who my real friends are. in the high school we also get a lot more homework. And it's not like the "oh summers over now I have to do some worksheets." Here we have homework in every class almost everyday. But even though I'm complaining I can definitely feel that high school is going to be one of the greatest experiences in my life

I learned from my two days of analyzing God that he is not what I imagined. I thought that he was nice and helped everyone he met. But now I see that he has imperfections just like everybody else. God decided to flood the earth because he was upset at mankind. The humans were fighting and being loud. But before the flood God choose Noah and his family to build an ark.  After the huge flood and Noah's family survived God realize that living creatures are important. He decided to bring the, back and have the remaining animal reproduce together. This shows that God is forgiving but do not upset him.

I blame the serpent

I blame the serpent. I blame him because he was the one who caused eve to eat the apple and share it with Adam. In the text the serpent says:

"The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.
"For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
"
The serpent knew that God didn't want them to eat it but still told them to eat it. But also I blame Eve because she forced Adam to take a bite of the apple which caused both of the, to get kicked out of the garden of Eden, instead of just Eve. I don't think they would have eaten it on their own. How the serpent persuaded them was by saying that thekl have knowledge like god if they ate the apple.

Gilgamesh vs. Deucalion

In the story of Gilgamesh there was a man named uta-napishti. He was warned by an ocean god that there was going to be a flood. After he was told what to do during the flood. But in the Greek flood Deucalion was warned by his god father to build an ark for the flood that was soon coming. this is one of the many ways of how they both were similar. A difference there was is that the Greek flood lasted 9 days, while uta-napishti flood lasted for 6 days and nights. Another difference is that as a reward for saving themselves uta-napishti and his wife were granted immortality. Deucalion was not even though he was a Demi god. Another way they are similar is how they both needed to find a way to create more humans. Deucalion and his wife threw the bones of his mother over the ship and they turned into people.  This is how they were similar and different

Welcome to my blog

hi my name is joselyn and I'm in 9th grade. I dont think this would be my favorite project mainly because it's going to be about English. I personally don't care that we have to make a blog as long as it's something I find interesting. But I'd rather write on the internet than in my notebook. Even though this isn't my favorite project I still hope you enjoy it.
